A seafront fish restaurant with a clear focus on fresh seafood. The menu centres on oven-baked and pan-fried fish, served with the usual accompaniments. Drinks include draft beer, with a local wheat beer alongside standard Polish lagers.
The fish stands out for its freshness and flavour. We had the cod, which was carefully prepared and worked well as a straightforward main course. Unlike at some Polish restaurants, the fillet was mostly deboned, with only a few soft bones remaining near the tail.
The ordering system is slightly unusual. Guests are seated by the front-of-house staff, but orders are placed at the bar, where payment is also made. If you have leftover food and want to take it away, it is worth asking for takeaway boxes when paying.
Service is relatively quick, though the food is cooked to order, so main dishes can still take 20 minutes or more to arrive. A salad or starter is a sensible choice if you want something while waiting. There is outdoor seating directly on the seafront, although table service is not always available outside. Indoor seating is more spacious, so finding a table should not be difficult.
It is a simple restaurant, but a well-executed one. For fresh fish in a practical seaside setting, it is a reliable option.
