Gemo is located on Gdańsk’s main town square, positioned directly along the central pedestrian route. It offers both indoor and outdoor dining, making it an accessible option in a very busy part of the city.
There is usually a street promoter outside, inviting passers-by in for drinks or a meal. The menu includes food, wine and a selection of Polish and Czech beers. The south-facing outdoor seating adds to its appeal, particularly with heating available in the evenings and during the winter months. Prices are on the higher side, though this is largely in line with its central location. Inside, the dining room is well furnished and comfortable and the food is substantial and satisfying.
Most importantly, it stands out for being one of the few places nearby where a beer is available early in the day.
